E: Mommy, what does NO mean?

Me: No means you are not allowed to do something

E: Does NO mean...I'll think about it??

M: No....

E: Does NO mean...not right now??

M: No means No, as in, "No you cannot do that, say that, etc"....

E: Oh, so No means NO....

M: Yes!
